Ghost

This cat found us.  We call him Ghost because he sort of haunts us, he doesn't really have any nicknames.  A day or so after we adopted Hope and her kittens Ghost showed up.  A very thin, scraggly looking Tom cat with the most beautiful blue eyes, Ghost was unusually gentle and passive around the mother and her kittens, even playing with the little ones.  Imagine our surprise when he demonstrated his ability to kick both Tom cat and doggy butt.  Ghost doesn't seem to know what fear is and has even taken on and sent running a pitbull.  However he knows what animals belong here and refuses to be provoked into running  from or fighting Baker or Angel.  He even tolerates a slobbery mauling from Missy on regular occasions.  Ghost has grown and filled out with regular food and a warm safe place to sleep.  He has become a regular defender of the house and is an important part of our family now.

Ghost has his own little life, though. He has been staying over at my mom and dad's place more and more. He and Buster have become best friends, at least until a female comes in heat in the neighborhood. He has not been coming home as much anymore. My dad feeds him canned food and he to prefer it to the dry food we feed. He and Noodlehead had a one night stand and she had 4 babies, but one did not make it. One of the kittens looks just like her daddy, we call her Alfredo Noodle.

Ghost would not stay home anymore and Carey's dad was not liking him over at his house all of the time.  Carey's mom asked us if we could find Ghost a new home.  Carey's mom and dad has other cats. Ghost was making them very mad looking in the window and laughing at them like, I am outside and you can't get me. So Carey's parents where not too happy. It took some time to find him a new home, but we did and we hope he is doing good where he is.
