Oscar was Tasha's baby. He was given to her by a friend and traveled with her until she settled here. He was leash-trained. Unfortunately, in August of 2001, he became very listless and grew weaker and weaker. Tasha was living with me by then and had left Oscar living on her parent's farm, because he was happy there. Her brother was taking care of him and brought this to our attention. On August 9, Oscar was officially diagnosed with feline lukemia. He passed away less than a week later and is buried close to our house. Oscar was a cat with a strong independent personality and a tom of much character. In other words, he was a cool cat and a feline to know. He is missed very much and we wish him well.
